And there it is… the final whistle! 🏁🎣
What an EPIC weekend for the club! 🙌
Brilliant match day today and, as we’ve been told by one of our longer-standing members, this was our first away match in probably 10+ years… and what a way to bring it back! 🔥
Between us we landed over 134lb of carp, with some seriously impressive bags for the winners! 👏🐟
🏆 THE RESULTS
Juniors
🥇 1st – TJ — a whopping 39lb 9oz! 🎣🔥
🥈 2nd – Alfie — very well fished with 11lb 3oz 👏
🥉 3rd – Oli — SO close to 2nd, just pipped at the post with 10lb 9oz!
Adults
🥇 1st – Our Vice Chairman — 33lb 10oz (although he did put himself in charge of the peg draw… 🤔😂). And, of course, still outfished by his nipper! 😆
🥈 2nd – Dan — an OK-ish haul of 23lb 6oz (yes I can catch fish... occasionally 😉)
🥉 3rd – Our man on the pole… Colin — 7lb on the nose 🎣
But perhaps the most impressive result of all…
NO ONE BLANKED! 🙌😂
No wooden spoon, no excuses, just a ruddy good day's fishing all round!
A huge thank you, as always, to Tom for organising the day and to everyone who was able to attend. Without you lot, days like this simply wouldn't happen.
Our mission this year is simple: get more juniors fishing and build a strong community around a shared passion.
The support we've been shown this weekend has been absolutely epic, from parents, members and local businesses, we genuinely couldn't do what we're doing without you.
